Arts activist and recipient of the Champions of Change award, Jason Roberts’ long list of accomplishments includes his role as originator of the Better Block Project. This international movement involves taking depressed blocks with vacant properties and converting them into temporary walkable districts with pop-up businesses, bike lanes, cafe seating and landscaping. The work has been featured in The New York Times, Dwell magazine and on NPR. Jason is excited to join us in Aberdeen for RuralX17!
