For the second year, the Mitchell Area
Chamber of Commerce and Convention Visitors Bureau is sponsoring the ruralX
Dine Around event, which involves dinner for approximately 150 event guests at
local restaurants following the first day of ruralX.
“We love sponsoring the Dine Around as
it gets people out and about in Mitchell at some of the really great dining
options we have here,” says Sonya Moller, Director of the Mitchell Chamber of
Commerce. “When we heard that Dakota Resources was bringing ruralX to Mitchell

Serving both rural and urban locations across North and South Dakota and extending
into Minnesota, Dacotah Bank is found in many of the communities that are also partners
of Dakota Resources. While the steady growth

Citi Community Development is engaged in communities across
the country supporting economic development. The corporate group works to
support underserved individuals and families and seeks collaborative
partnerships with organizations like Dakota Resources to help make an impact.
“Citi has had a solid relationship with Dakota Resources for
more than ten years and we value their partnership,” explains Ruth
Christopherson, Senior Vice President of Citi Community Development. “They are
doing great things for our rural communities and through our support of Dakota
Resources, I have seen firsthand how one organization in a small community can
make a difference.”
Ruth has attended RuralX the past three years and is excited
about the direction the event is taking, citing that the OpenX portion of the
two-day conference is her favorite experience.
