Are you a rural community leader or a small town entrepreneur looking for some fresh motivation and professional insight?

Dakota Resources, a rural community and economic development organization based in Renner, South Dakota, is hosting a weekend of learning, connecting and inspiration for rural community leaders, economic development professionals and entrepreneurs across the region.

The annual Dakota Resources Empower Sessions Event And Gala will take place in Spearfish, South Dakota October 18-19 at the Spearfish Holiday Inn Convention Center. Rural changemakers will be immersed in two days of learning workshops, guest speakers, social networking, success stories and more. A full schedule of events is available at empowersessions.org.

In addition to the learning sessions, Dakota Resources will also be celebrating ten years of Dakota Rising, a program designed to power rural entrepreneurs and the communities supporting them. Graduates from the final Dakota Rising Fellowship class will be honored and Empower Community Awards will recognize rural shapers who are making a difference in local communities. A Gala awards night and social event will take place on Saturday, October 19 and is an optional add-on for all attendees.

If you are interested in helping your rural community thrive, purchase your tickets to the Empower Sessions and optional Gala awards night at www.empowersessions.org. For further information, contact Dakota Resources at 605-978-2804 or email ellie@dakotaresources.org
