For the second year, the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention Visitors Bureau is sponsoring the ruralX Dine Around event, which involves dinner for approximately 150 event guests at local restaurants following the first day of ruralX.

“We love sponsoring the Dine Around as it gets people out and about in Mitchell at some of the really great dining options we have here,” says Sonya Moller, Director of the Mitchell Chamber of Commerce. “When we heard that Dakota Resources was bringing ruralX to Mitchell last year, we knew we wanted to be involved. The Dine Around is the perfect fit for us.”

The Mitchell Chamber and Convention Visitors Bureau  works hard to bring programs and events designed to benefit business owners, professionals, employees and citizens in the area, and ruralX is an event the organization can really get behind.

“RuralX is absolutely amazing. Last year they knocked it out of the park and I expect more of the same this year,” says Sonya. “We loved the content, the open communication, the networking and the great learning experiences. We are so happy this is being hosted in Mitchell once again!”

RuralX will be held June 19 and 20 in Mitchell SD at Mitchell Wesleyan Church. To find more information about speakers, agenda and registration, visit or contact
