Waldner Farms in Webster is a small locally owned business that offers fresh, garden-grown produce to an increasing number of people in the Webster area and beyond. The business literally grew out of love and is tended by owners Darin and Melissa Waldner, Darin’s parents and some family friends.

Sioux Falls Nonprofits Celebrate Grant Awards

Ten Sioux Falls area nonprofits were recent recipients of Community Innovation Grants (CIG) and South Dakota Fund (SDF) grants awarded through the South Dakota Community Foundation. The  grant awards total $79,000.

The SDCF offers Community Innovation Grants through their partnership with the Bush Foundation. The South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) received forty-three applications for its second round of 2017 Community Innovation Grants. Fourteen nonprofits were selected to receive awards.  Six of those were either from the Sioux Falls area or offering services in Sioux Falls.

“The SDCF is pleased to partner with these Southeast area nonprofits as they work to address community needs,” says Ginger Niemann, SDCF program officer. “We look forward to working with them as they meet the challenges they identified.”
